Land Rover's venerable Range Rover will now come standard with a 4.6-liter V8 engine. A navigation system is now standard on the 4.6 HSE model and optional on the 4.6 SE, as is a new premium audio system. New exterior colors are Oslo Blue and Bonatti Grey.

  I bought this to drive in comfort on the highway and never get stranded offroad. It excells at both. I hit a deer head-on at 65mph and was able to drive 80 miles home with all lights working and no steering problems-a very solid vehicle! Had the bladder leak on one of my suspension bags- replaced it with Gen III air bladders from Arnott and Bilstein shocks-now its awesome squared! Its just a real pleasure to drive it anywhere. I want the most bang for my buck and Ive got it with this. So far, except for more horsepower, the later model styles dont appeal to me as much as the P- 38. Turning radius and maneuverability is amazing. The first day I drove it I parallel parked it in ONE move!

  A great vehicle which I have had converted to lpg. I have added a sport exhaust so that it sounds like a proper v8. Never had any problems since purchase in March of 2007. Electric seats dont work and the rear wash has died but the enjoyment I get when I drive this superb piece of machinery far out weighs these trivial problems. Havent been off road yet, one day soon i hope.

  this is one of the most comfortable vehicles on the road, you feel like you are in charge and own the highway, it has some quirks, but what car doesnt, i feel very safe and that is a big factor in driving on the roads today, it is a driving dream, feel as though i could drive it coast to coast non-stop, the biggest thing is keeping up on maintenance, preventive is always the best way, get a feel for your rover, its a status symbol that you will always enjoy, mine has a 102,000 miles, going real strong, if you do buy one make sure the air ride is in place, a little maintenance, but the ride is worth it.
